Musica: India, fine tour duo Angela Papale e Fabio Marra
Con famose arie di Puccini, Verdi e Tosti si è concluso stasera a New Delhi il tour della soprano Angela Papale e del pianista Fabio Marra. Il recital, organizzato dal Centro culturale dell'Ambasciata d'Italia, ha fatto il tutto esaurito all'auditorium dell'Habitat Center dove il duo si è esibito nell'ultima tappa di una tournée che ha toccato Calcutta, Pune e Jaipur.
La Papale, premiata in numerosi concorsi lirici e con all'attivo diverse collaborazioni internazionali, si è esibita in alcuni dei grandi classici del melodramma come Madama Butterfly e Manon Lascaut per poi terminare con le romanze napoletane di Francesco Paolo Tosti. Ad accompagnarla il pianista e conduttore Marra, insegnante al conservatorio di Piacenza e consulente di diversi teatri e fondazioni per la lirica. Il duo proseguirà il suo tour asiatico a Giacarta.

PMI/ Ambasciatore Enzo Angeloni incontra ministro Mishra
New Delhi, May 18 (KNN) The envoys of Italy and Slovenia met Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Kalraj Mishra here today.
The Ambassador of Italy to India, Enzo Angeloni and Ambassador of Slovenia to India, Darga Bavdaz-Kuret called on Mishra respectively in two separate meetings.
Italy is among India's top five trading partners in the European Union, bilateral trade between them amounting to €8.52 billion in 2011/12.
Around 140 Italian companies, including brands such as Fiat, Perfetti, and Piaggio, have invested in India. TCS, Wipro, Larsen & Toubro, and Mahindra & Mahindra are among the Indian companies active in Italy.
During the same time, the bilateral trade between India and Slovenia, a member of EU, was at 400 million euro. The trade between the two countries has been growing at a rate of approximately 20 per cent since the last few years. (KNN Bureau)
